When the machine is equipped with the Image Masking/Centring Option, you can use the Auto Frame
Masking Function which ensures that the frame (non-image area) of a film image will not be reproduced on
the print.
Selecting the Auto Frame Masking
Conditions Enabling Masking
NOTE
Some types of film defy the Auto Frame Masking functions depending on their image sizes on the
Screen or density.
Depress the Masking Button as necessary to
select AUTO.
A. The image area in the vertical Feed direction
in the Screen is 50 mm or more.
B. The masking width on the Screen is 10 mm or
more.
NOTE
The Auto Frame Masking Function will not
function properly for a film image not meeting
the above requirements.
