It is recommended that the replacement parts and nylon string spools are of the same model and
brand Tramontina. The string used in the spools is special for this function.

Keep the spool holder fixed, hold the nylon string and pull it upwards. slide the string to the left to a length of

The excess piece of string will be cut by the line limiter blade at the moment when the trimmer begins to operate.

If the nylon string breaks inside the spool (3), remove the spool protection clamp (4) and pull the string to
approximately 8cm. Then pass the nylon string through the protection clamp. Replace the protection clamp on a
spool and then the spool in the trimmer's spool holder

Keep pressed down the button [1] of the spool
Then release the spool button and the nylon strings so that the spool may automatically be adjusted to its housing.
Automatic
With the motor in operation, press down slightly the spool button

After using, always disconnect the trimmer from the outlet.
When not used, the trimmer must be stored out of the reach of children.
Never replace the nylon string for other than Tramontina-made parts.
Never use metal in replacement for the nylon string.
Always keep the ventilation openings of the motor.
After using, clean the trimmer using wet cloth or brush. Never pour water on the trimmer.
This device should not be used by inexperienced or uninformed individuals (including children), unless they have
been instructed in its use or are being supervised by someone responsible for their safety.
Keep children and pets away from the trimmer when it is in operation.
Before starting the cutting of the grass, remove from the ground, stones, stumps and other objects that may
fragment the nylon string or cause it to entangle.
During the work, always use closed footwear and safety goggles.
In any maintenance, cleaning, transport, storage and/or adjustment of the grass trimmer, turn off the motor and
the electric cable and wait for the nylon string to stop.
Inspect the electric cable periodically. Never seam the electric cable.
Never work with the trimmer under the rain or on wet grasses and always use during the day or with good lighting.
In steep places, use antiskid shoes and always walk transversally towards the direction of the slope.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized dealer or a qualified person
to reduce risk of injury.
During the work, do not raise the trimmer. If this is needed, do it such that the nylon string stays on the side
opposite to the operator.
Try to feed the electric cable from behind the trimmer and always through the side of the already cut
