OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all of these instructions carefully before you operate this product and save these instructions for later
use.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Battery: One LR41 battery
One single battery can be used for more than 1,000 times' measurement. When the battery sign "
the display, please replace with a new battery.
Follow the steps below to replace the battery:
1. Downward press the back cover, then push the back cover along the direction of arrow " > > > " about 1mm
(Figure A), the back cover will emit a click sound, the back cove can be open now.
2. Remove the battery, insert the new battery with "+" pole facing up as shown in the Figure B.
3. Close the back cover.

Dispose of used batteries according to applicable local regulations.
USING THE THERMOMETER
• To turn on the thermometer, press the ON/OFF button.
• A sign " " will be shown on the display for 2 seconds.
• If the test is no problem, an and a flashing "°C" will be displayed, this means the thermometer now is ready
to use. Choose the preferred measuring method. When taking a measurement, the "°C" symbol continuously flashes.
About 8 to 10 seconds, when the "°C" is no longer flashing, this means that the thermometer can now be read.
When measurement is stop and if the temperature more than 37.8°C (100°F). In this case the buzzer alarms
"BI-BI-BI--- BI-BI-BI---" for 10 sec, as follows: BI --- BI --- BI ---------- BI ---BI: 0.125sec.
When the temperature is no more than 37.8°C (100°F), the buzzer alarms "BI-BI-BI-BI-" for 10 sec, as follows:
BI --- BI---BI: 0.5sec
• If you want to continue to take measurement, do not need to remove the thermometer. If the new reading is higher
than before, the new reading will replace the last reading is stored in memory. The thermometer will automatically
switch itself off in 10 minutes. User also can press ON/OFF button to turn off the thermometer.
• Press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 4 seconds until the "Lo°C" is displayed on LCD, then press ON/OFF
button again to switch between "°C" and "°F".
• Store the thermometer in the storage case after use.
