What are the standard wattage and amps used?
Information pertaining to watts and amps can be found on the rating plate located on the back of the unit.
Tips before trying a pour
• Has the CO
tank be fi lled and is the recommended pressure set

• Allow the keg to settle and cool (think of the unsettled keg as a shaken soda can)
• Wetting glass before pour reduces surface tension with less foam in glass.
No beer coming out of tap when it's opened for a pour
• Make sure the CO

• Make sure the cock valve on the regulator is pointing down the hose and not across the hose (Open

A very slow pour

• The pressure is not set properly (an adjustment may have to be made)
• The beer in the keg is still unsettled allow to settle and cool before a pour
• Check to make sure the ball fl oat (inside the coupler) is free to move
• NOTE: If any adjustment is made let the pressure settle before a pour
Beer leaking from a connection
• Make sure there are washers where there is a metal to metal connection
• Make sure the washers or "o" rings are not damaged and in the proper place
• Make sure there are no impurities on any of the washers or "o" rings; "o" rings in the tap washers are
in the hose and coupler connections
Handle won't move.
If beer in the tap was not cleaned out before the unit sat idle for an extended period of time the sugars in
the beer may have hardened and caused the beer tap lever to stick. Remove the tap from the tower and
soak it in hot water for 30 minutes. This will soften and dissolve the hardened sugars inside the tap and
allow movement. Rinse the tap throughly before replacing on the tower.
