disconnecting the supply. Do not use the product if
the cord is damaged or worn.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced
by a person professionally qualified to do so, with a
new cable set that is available from the manufacturer.
Failure to follow this instruction can result in serious
injury to yourself or others including electrocution.
If you need to use an extension cord ensure that it is
suitable for outdoor use and has a current capacity
rating sufficient to supply your product. The extension
cord cable should be marked with either "H05 RN-F"
or "H05 VV-F". Check the cord before every use for
damage, and always uncoil it during use, because
coiled cords can overheat. Replace damaged extension
cords with an equivalent type. Do not repair damaged
extension cords.
Make sure to keep extension cords away from moving
hazardous parts to avoid damages to the cords which
can lead to contact with live parts.
Make sure that the power cord is positioned so that it
cannot be damaged by the cutting means and will not
be stepped on, tripped over or otherwise subjected to
damage or stress.
Never pick up or carry the product by the electric cable.
Never pull by the power cord to disconnect from the
power supply.
Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
Make sure that voltage is correct for your product.
A nameplate on the product indicates the product's
voltage. Never connect the product to an AC voltage
that differs from this voltage.
Always ensure that the cord from the handlebar to the
scarifier body is never trapped, pinched or otherwise
damaged during assembly or handle folding. Never
apply power to the product if the cable is damaged.
Have the product serviced by an authorised service
centre only.
A power spike causes voltage fluctuations and
may affect other electrical products in the same
power line. Connect the product to a power supply
with an impedance equal or less than 0.452Ω - for
RY1400SF35A and RY1400SF35B to minimize voltage
fluctuations. Contact your electric power supplier for
further clarification.
