The MODBUS communication configuration parameters are available in the advanced
menu see Par. 8). EVOPLUS SMALL circulators also have
the possibility of communicating on LON bus through
external interface devices.
Further information and details about the MODBUS and LON
bus interface are available and can be downloaded by

5.1.3.
Analogue Input and PWM
Figure 5 Pull-out 7-pole terminal board: 0-10V inputs, PWM and NTC shows the wiring
diagram of the external signals 0-10V and PWM and of the temperature sensor, type NTC.
As may be seen from the figure the 2 signals and the NTC temperature sensor share the
same terminals on the terminal board, so they are mutually exclusive. If you want to use
an analogue control signal, you will have to set the type of signal from the menu (see par.
8 Page 7.0).
If you want to use a regulating mode depending on the liquid temperature you will have
to connect the 10 kΩ NTC temperature sensor as shown in Figure 5.
5.1.4.
Digital Outputs
With reference to Figure 6 Pull-out 3- pole terminal board: connection for indicating
alarms and Figure 7 Pull-out 3-pole terminal board: connection for indicating pump
running the multifunction expansion module offers a single digital output, the function
of which may be set from the menu (see par. 8 Page 12.0).:

Output OUT1 is available on the pull-out 3-pole terminal board as specified in Table 4
which also shows the type of contact (NC = Normally Closed, COM = Common, NO =
Normally Open).

ENGLISH
The electrical characteristics of the contacts are shown in Table 5.
In the example shown in Figure 6 the function associated with the output OUT1 is
"alarms present" and L1 lights up when there is an alarm in the system and switches
off when no type of malfunction is found.
In the example shown in Figure 7 the function associated with the output OUT1 is
"pump status" and L1 lights up when the pump is running and switches off when the
pump is stopped.
Characteristics of the output contacts
Max. bearable voltage [V]
Max. bearable current [A]
Max. accepted cable section [mm²]

5.2.
Twin Systems
Evoplus small circulators in a twin configuration are supplied by the factory with the
multifunction expansion modules already installed and suitably wired.
Figure 8 evoplus small system: twin operation
For correct operation of the twin system, all the external connections
of the pull-out 6-pole terminal board must be connected in parallel
between the 2 EVOPLUS SMALL respecting the numbering of the
individual terminals.
For the possible operating modes of twin systems see par. 8 Page 8.0 of the EVOPLUS
SMALL menu.
6.
START
All the starting operations must be performed with the cover of the
EVOPLUS SMALL control panel perfectly closed and the expansion
module correctly installed as described in paragraph 4.1.
Start the system only when all the electrical and hydraulic
connections have been completed.
Once the system has been started it is possible to modify the operating modes to adapt
better to the plant requirements (see par.8).
