recipe - Batter for cupcakes

2 eggs

145g castor sugar
•
1/2 sachet vanilla sugar
preparation
Put the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the butter in a bowl with a pinch of salt and whisk the ingredients with a
mixer in approximately 10 minutes into a creamy mass. Whisk through the eggs one by one. Wait with adding
the second egg until the first egg has fully blended with the mixture. Use a spatula to mix the flour through in
parts. Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.
operAtion - Baking cupcakes
1. Prepare the cupcake batter using the recipe given on the packaging.
2. Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3. G rease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface, or Place the paper
cake cases in the appliance.
4. Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.
D o not use a plastic piping bag, it could melt when it comes into contact with the baking plates.
5. Bake the cupcakes until they have the desired colour.

T he normal preparation time is approximately 6 minutes. For evenly browned cupcakes you may
turn around the cupcakes and bake them for approximately 4 extra minutes.

D uring use the heating element will switch on and off to keep the temperature of the baking plate
constant. Consequently, the indicator light will also occasionally be illuminated.
6. Open the appliance once the cupcakes are ready.
7. C arefully remove the cupcakes with a fork; take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
8. O nce you have finished baking cupcakes, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the appliance
to allow the baking plates to cool down.
cleAning And MAintenAnce
C lean the appliance after each use.
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
2. C lean the waffle iron with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a little washing-up liquid to clean the waffle
iron. Make sure moisture does not get into the appliance.
3. Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
4. Store the cake-popmaker.

Make sure the plug has been removed from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
•
N ever use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
to clean the appliance.
•
Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
