1.- INTRODUCTION

1.1.- GENERAL
Thank you for purchasing a D.A.S. power amplifier. It has been built
with the most advanced modular technology, and has been
designed through the use of computer aided design for both the
electronic and mechanical parts. The 2-mm thick steel chassis is
cut by computer controlled machinery. The result is a highly
advanced modular unit, prepared to withstand demanding
professional's use in today's installations.
To ensure the utmost reliability, every component undergoes a strict
quality control before production, and only the highest quality
electronic parts are used.

2.- QUICK GUIDE AND DESCRIPTION
2.1.- FUNDAMENTAL, FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
A) POWER SWITCH
Turns the amplifier on and off. There is a turn-on delay, to ensure
that all appropriate voltages are properly adjusted. On models E-8,
E-12 and E-20, the safeguard LED indicator is lit until the amplifier is
ready for use.
B) FAN GRILL
Fan cooling permits airflow through the most vital parts of the
amplifier. Since the airflow finds its way out through the grill, keep
it as clean and dust-free as possible to assure proper cooling.
C) CLIP LED
In the event that the signal's excursion exceeds the maximum
voltage from the power supply, the unit will indicate saturation
through the clip LED of the channel involved.
