IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a
feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be
fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1. LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!
2. Turn off/unplug fixture and allow to cool before replacing bulb (lamp).
3. Place fixture on a level surface to prevent it from tipping over.
4. Do not use a bulb in excess of the rating sticker found inside of fixture.
5. Keep away from wet or damp locations.
6. Use the Rotary Switch/plug when turning the fixture ON/OFF.
7. Keep at least 6 inches from curtains, furniture or any combustible materials.

TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION:
(1) 100W Standard Type A19
OR
(1) 26W CFL Equivalent Bulb
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Please read all of these instructions thoroughly before beginning the assembly
process as shown in the ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM on page 3.
2.
Carefully remove all the parts from the box and verify that none of the parts are
missing.
3. Connect the thread tubes (8) each other then screw into the coupler (7) and lamp
connector/base (9) and tighten it in place.
4. Adjust the fixture body to balance.
5. Install the fabric shade (2) on to the lamp socket (4) and tighten with the socket
ring (3) (preassembly on to the socket).
6. Screw the bulb (1) (included) into the lamp-socket (3).
7. Remove the plug cover and plug the power cord into a polarized 120 volt outlet.
8. Use the rotary switch (5) to turn the lamp ON/OFF.
