1. Notes before Use
Thank you for choosing Eaglenos's Blood Glucose and Lactate Meter. In order to use the meter safely and effectively and avoid possible
injuries, please read the user's manual in detail before use.
Please read the following precautions and EMC instructions carefully to ensure proper use of the meter. Nanjing Eaglenos Co., Ltd. is not
responsible for any problems arising from violations of the warnings and caution in this manual.
Important safety instructions
• During blood glucose/blood lactate testing, all parts of the meter are likely to come into contact with blood. Even with cleaning and
disinfection, there is still a risk of carrying bloodborne pathogens.
• When the meter is used in a medical setting, health care workers are asked to follow the appropriate infection control requirements for
sanitation in medical settings, such as wearing gloves or other personal protection, and the meter needs to be disinfected regularly.
• When used in an environment with children, please keep the meter out of the reach of children.
• Some small objects (e.g., battery covers, batteries, test strips, blood lancets, protective caps for blood lancets, caps for control solutions,
etc.) can potentially cause choking hazards. Do not swallow any such objects.
Before using the meter, please read the following instructions.
• This product is a medical device and is only applicable to the scope of application described in the user's manual. Improper use and
operation may result in incorrect test results. Operators should read the user's manual for this product, the accompanying test strips,
control solutions, and accessories in detail before use to ensure strict compliance with the use and operation specifications.
• This product is only used to monitor the effect of blood glucose and blood lactate control on diabetic patients. It cannot be used to
diagnose and screen diabetes, nor can it be used as a basis for adjusting treatment methods.
• Do not allow any debris to enter the sockets of the meter.
• Do not use the meter in places with aerosol droplets, acidic volatile gases, or next to strong radiation sources.
• Environmental requirements when performing blood glucose or blood lactate tests: see user's manuals of the test strips.
