8. Care and maintenance
Each time a test strip is inserted, the meter will automatically do system testing and let you know if there is a problem.
Meter storage
• For the storage information of blood glucose test strips/blood lactate test strips, please refer to user's manuals of the test strips.
• When the meter is not used for a long time, please remove the battery to prevent leaking, which may cause damage to the meter.
• The meter should be stored in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place with no corrosive gas.
• Storage temperature: -20°C to 55°C. Storage relative humidity: 10% to 93% (no condensation).
• Do not drop or disassemble the meter under any circumstances.
Cleaning the meter
Make sure that the meter does not get dusty. If you need to clean or disinfect the meter, follow the guidelines below carefully to maintain
optimal performance.
1) Make sure the meter is turned off.
2) Use a soft cloth moistened with 75% alcohol to wipe the surface of the meter gently. Bleach or strong cleaning solutions are prohibi-
ted. Disinfection and cleaning are recommended once a day for hospital use.
Warnings
• Do not let any liquid enter any openings of the meter.
• Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the meter.
• Do not immerse the meter in liquid.
