Tips for placement:
•
For use as a baby monitor: place the baby unit at least
one meter away from your baby and make sure to
safely tuck away the adapter cable.
•
For optimal range, it is advisable to set up the baby
unit as high as possible, free from large metal surfac-
es.
•
The temperature protrudes from the rear of the baby
unit. Make sure this sensor hangs freely, unexposed to
direct sunlight and avoid heat from e.g. light bulbs.
•
The baby unit is not waterproof and therefore suit-able
for indoor use only.
3.2 PARENT UNIT:
Power:
The parent unit may be powered directly by the supplied
rechargeable battery or via the supplied power adaptor. As
soon as you connect the power adaptor, the battery starts
charging to also allow mobile use of the parent unit.
Battery:
Only insert the supplied Li-Polymer battery
(3.7V, 950mAh, model SCD530-1).
Power adaptor:
Connect the 5V power adaptor (with the thicker plug) to the
side of the parent unit and insert the adaptor into a 230V
wall socket.
Only use the supplied power adaptor with model
Make sure that the adaptor cable doesn't cause a tripping
or falling risk. Bundle cables that are too long with tape or
cable-ties available specifically for this purpose.
Slide the battery cover at the rear down-
wards and insert the supplied battery.
Slide the battery cover back onto the
parent unit.
