Maintenance and
Repairs
Readjusting the door
The incubator should, at reasonable intervals,
be tested for proper operation. This applies especially to
the temperature limit controller.
The safety of the incubator and its conformity with the
relevant standards will be guaranteed only if maintenance
work, repairs and/or modifications are carried out by
authorized personnel.
Before any maintenance or repair work is carried out, the
incubator must be disconnected from the line.
If the door no longer closes properly, adjust the bearing pin
and the catches:

internal fittings
- Loosen the catch nut M6 with a wrench (size 10) and
turn the catch clockwise for at least one complete
rotation. After this, return the catch to the same position.
Tighten catch nut M6 again.
- Loosen the Phillips screw of the bearing pin.
Use a small spindle to prevent the bearing pin from
rotating also. After you've loosened the screw, turn the
bearing pin with the spindle, and determine the desired
setting for height and depth. Retighten the Phillips screw,
and check if the door is tight.
Open the door, slightly pressing upward. Note the
withdrawal position at approx. 15°. The door can be
removed and refitted only in this position.
Remove the defective gasket and install a replacement.
After that, it is imperative that the unit be tested for
tightness. Make sure to replace the clamps.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the fittings
inside the working chamber.
- Unscrew the bottom plate
- Unscrew the lateral cooling baffles
- Remove the individual internal fittings
