Start up Instructions
Congratulations! You have completed the
installation of your new water filtration system.
Please Follow the Startup Instructions.
Step 1
- Turn on water supply.
Step 2
- Flush new cartridge with 5 gallons of water prior to
use and check for leaks. A container with a known
volume can be filled to determine how much water
has flushed through the system. If leaks occur,
check tightness of tubing and fittings. If leaks persist,
discontinue use and call Retail customer service.
NOTICE
Check frequently over the next 24 hours to ensure no leaks
are present

1: System to be used with municipal or well water sources
treated and tested on regular basis to insure bacteriological safe
quality. DO NOT use with water that is micro biologically unsafe
or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or
after the system. While testing was performed under standard
laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
2: Operating Temperature: Maximum 100° F (38° C)
Minimum 35° F (2° C)
3: Operating Water Pressure: Maximum 100-psi (690 kpa)
Minimum 25-psi (172 kpa)
4: Flow Rate: 0.5 gpm (3.8 Lpm)
5: Change time interval: 2500 Gallons (9,464 Liters) or after 6
months
This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI Standard
42 for the reduction of the substances listed below.
The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering
the system was reduced to a concentration less than or
equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as
specified in NSF/ANSI 42. Testing performed under standard
laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
This system is certified to NSF/ANSI standard 372 for 'lead free'
compliance.
