Preparing the coff ee machine
Remove the transport packaging from the coff ee machine and place the machine onto a fl at surface away from other objects.
Connect the power cord plug to 230 V grid. Rinse the metal lever and fi lters for 1 or 2 cups under running water and dry.
Filling the water reservoir
Remove the water reservoir, rinse, fi ll with water to the MAX mark
Notice: Add water to the reservoir whenever it drops to the MIN mark. Water can be added to the reservoir directly in the coff ee
machine. A small amount of water may accumulate in the area under the reservoir; remove it using a paper towel when necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not use the coff ee machine without water in the reservoir to avoid damage to the machine.
If there is no water left in the reservoir and the pump has sucked air, switch off the machine, remove the water reservoir,
fi ll it with water to the MAX mark and place back into the coff ee machine. Continue following the procedure described
in "Hot water preparation" section. You can again use the coff ee machine as usual when hot water begins to fl ow out
of the nozzle.
Before fi rst use
Before preparing your coff ee for the fi rst time, operate the machine idle at least twice in the programme for 1 cup or 2 cups, i.e.
with the lever fastened and without placing ground coff ee in the fi lter (see "Coff ee preparation" section).
Switching on the coff ee machine
Press the switch on/off button
to the operating temperature. Once the indicator lamp ceases to fl ash, the coff ee machine is ready for use.
Notice: The coff ee machine is heated also continuously during operation, the switch on/off indicator lamp may also go on during the
preparation of coff ee, milk froth and hot water.
Dispensing coff ee
Insert the fi lter for 1 cup or the fi lter for 2 cups of coff ee into the metal lever

Placing cups
To prepare 1 cup, place one cup onto the centre of the drip grid so that both dispensing apertures in the fastened lever are directed

Useful hint: Store the cups bottom up on the coff ee machine's warmer. After the coff ee machine is switched on, the warmer transfers
heat to the cups and warms them
Coff ee preparation
Press the button for 1 cup
preparation is factory set to 20 seconds for 1 cup and 40 seconds for 2 cups. The blue indicator lamp will go off after the preparation
time elapses, coff ee preparation will end
Changing the time of coff ee preparation
You can change the coff ee preparation time for 1 cup and 2 cups and thus adjust the required amount and fl avour intensity of
regularly prepared coff ee. Press and hold the button for 1 cup
the selected programme begins to fl ash. Release the button and wait until the required amount of coff ee is prepared in the cup
or cups. When the required amount has been prepared, press the programme button again; coff ee preparation will end and the
machine will store in its memory and repeat the thus-programmed coff ee preparation time every time you make coff ee next time.
Notice: If you disconnect the coff ee machine from the grid for more than 3 seconds, the coff ee preparation time will be automatically
set back to the original 20 seconds (1 cup
