INTRODUCTION.
We are grateful for the trust given to our Brand and we hope that the product you have just
bought will be very useful for you. This product has many characteristics that Will make your job
faster and easier. Concepts such as Safety, comfort and reliability have been identified as
priorities in product design.
The auto-darkening welding helmet PE-1000/3XL, is designed to protect eyes and face from
sparks, spatter and harmful radiation under normal conditions. It Will not protect against severe
impact hazards, including fragmenting grinding disks
GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES.
WARNING: Read and understand this manual before using this product. Failure to do so
can result in serious injury.
WORKING AREA.
Keep working area clean and well lit. Cluttered areas and benches invites accidents.
Do not use welding helmet into explosive atmospheres or in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Electric arc welding process generates sparks that may cause fires.
Keep observers, childs and visitors away from working área. Distractions may cause a
loss of control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY.
WARNING:
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators, there is an increased risk of electrical shock.
Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Water ingress into electronic elements
will increase the risk of protect fault and electrical shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY.
Stay alert, look what you are doing and use common sense when wearing welding
helmet. Do not use welding helmet if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol,
drugs and medication. A moment of distraction can result in serious injury to the eyes.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry which may get caught in moving
parts.
Avoid work positions that could expose unprotected areas of the body to spark, spatter,
direct and7or reflected radiations. Use adequate protection if exposure cannot be
avoided.
BEFORE WELDING.
Check the front cover lens to make sure they are clean, and no dirt is covering the sensor
son the front of filter cartridge.
Check the front/inside cover lens and the front lens retaining frame to make sure that
they are secure.
