COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS.
Irregular Darkening Dimming: Headband has been set unevenly and there is an uneven
distance from the eyes to the filter´s lens. Reset headband to reduce the difference to
filter.
Auto-Darkening filter does not darken or flickers: Front cover lens is soiled or damaged.
Change lens cover. Sensors are soiled. Clean the sensors Surface. Welding current is too
low. Adjust sensitivity to high.
Slow response: Operating temperature is too low. Do not use product at temperature below
23ºF (-5ºC).
Poor visión: Front/inside cover lens and or filters are soiled. Change lens. There is
insufficient ambient light. Shade number is incorrectly set. Reset the shade number.
Welding helmet slips: Headband is not adjusted properly. Readjust headband.
WARNING: Operator must stop using the auto-darkening filter welding helmet
immediately if the above mentioned problems cannot be corrected. Contact your dealer.
7.
WARRANTY.
Period: The warranty period is 24 months, for endusers who do not use the product into a
professional activity. If the product is used into a professional activity or industrial process the
guarantee period will be 12 months.
Limited warranty: Warranty obligates to manufacturer CEVIK S.A. to repair or replace, free of
charge, all components subjected to verified manufacturing defects. It will be CEVIK´s Technical
Service responsibility to repair/replace the components in a short period of time, according to
the internal commitments of service.
Warranty shall not include:
- Consumables.
- Cause damages to persons, other living entities and objects was subject to abuse, improper
use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environment conditions more severe
than those specified in the manual and specification.
Pull down on the battery cover to remove ( K ).
Change the battery ( L ).
Reinstall the battery cover ( K ).
