Preparation of the shear for work
The base of the tank should be equipped with wheels, which will make it easier to move the lubricator. Screw the wheels to the
holes in the base (II).
Connect the gun to the lubricator with an elastic hose. Screw one of the hose connections to the gun (III) and the other to the
pump outlet (III). Tighten the connection nuts fi rmly and securely using a wrench. The connections shall be pressurised to a high
pressure and shall ensure suffi cient tightness for effi cient and safe operation.
Unlock all the hooks holding the lid in place, and then lift the tank lid up while holding the handle.
Fill the tank with grease up to the capacity indicated in the technical data table. The container shall be fi lled uniformly with grease
and its surface shall be even. This will prevent interruptions in grease fl ow caused by air bubbles.
Place the piston inside the tank so that its surface is parallel to the edge of the tank (IV). Manually push the piston in such a way
that it comes into contact with the grease surface in the tank.
Place the piston compression spring (V) on the lid pin. Place the lid on the tank so that the lid pin hits the hole in the centre of
the piston (VI).
Secure the lid with the hooks. The upper part of the hook should be held in the embossing on the lid and the hook tongue should
be pushed to the tank (VII).
The grease density must be selected according to the application and the ambient temperature. The grease can increase in density
as the temperature drops. Too thick a grease can reduce the effi ciency of the lubricator or even make it impossible for it to operate.
CAUTION! The lubricator is designed to operate only with solid grease. It is forbidden to use liquid greases, oils, petrol, solvents
or other liquids.
Connect the lubricator to the pneumatic system according to the instructions above. Use the built-in pressure gauge to determine
the air pressure within the range specifi ed in the technical data table. To change the pressure, pull out the dial and turn it. Rotating
in the direction of the arrow marked "+" increases the pressure and rotating in the direction of the arrow marked "-" decreases the
pressure. The pressure reading is visible on the pressure gauge dial. Once the operating pressure has been set, press the dial
down to prevent it from accidentally changing position during operation.
The lid handle is equipped with a hanger on which the hose and the gun can be hung.
Unwind the hose connecting the gun to the lubricator to the length necessary for operation. It is not recommended to excessively
unwind the hose so that it lies on the ground. This will reduce the risk of hose damage. Before starting the lubricator, check the
gun's manoeuvrability and change the length of the unwound hose if necessary.
Connecting the tool to pneumatic system
The fi gure shows the recommended connection of tool to the pneumatic system. Presented method will ensure the most effi cient
use of tool, and also it will extend the service life of the tool.
Let a few drops of oil for pneumatic tools SAE viscosity 10 to the air intake (VIII).
Tool performance can be adjusted by varying the supply air pressure of the tool. It is forbidden to excess the maximum pressure,
which is specifi ed in the table with technical data.
Connect the tool to air system using the hose with an inner diameter of 10 mm / 3/8 ". Make sure, that the strength of the hose is
at least 1.38 MPa. (IX)
Start the tool for a few seconds, making sure that it does not issue any suspicious sounds or vibrations.
Working with the tool,
The gun nozzle should be directed to the container for used grease, Press and hold the gun trigger. Wait until grease would start
fl ow out from the gun nozzle. Release the pressure on the trigger, check whether the grease stopped its fl owing out. Apply the
gun nozzle to the place of grease application and start working. After you complete to apply grease, fi rst you should release the
pressure on the gun trigger, and then move the outlet nozzle away from the place of grease application. This will prevent losses
and will not cause the grease pollution. If necessary, clean the application area of grease excess.
In the course of the work, you should regularly check the grease level in the tank. The pump can be damaged if, in the course of
its work, it will be interrupted in its supply of grease.
ATTENTION! During fi rst run, after cleaning or changing the grease, it is normal, that you have to wait a longer time from the
moment you press the trigger until the grease will show on the gun nozzle. The grease must travel all the way from the container,
through the grease gun pump, through hose to the outlet of the gun.
ATTENTION! When changing the grease it is advisable to clean the inside of the tank from the residue of the previous grease.
Then refi ll the tank with a new grease, direct the outlet of gun nozzle to a separate container and start the grease gun. Hold the
trigger as long as at the gun outlet the new lubricant shows up. Diff erent types of greases can react and change their properties
when they are in contact with each other.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Never use gasoline, or any other fl ammable liquid to clean the tool. The vapors can be ignited, causing the tool explosion and
