2.3. Safe device use
a)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not function properly (does not switch on and off).
Devices that cannot be controlled by the switch are dangerous, must not be operated and must be
repaired.
b)
Keep unused devices out of the reach of children and anyone not familiar with the device or these
instructions. Devices are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
c)
Keep the device in good working order. Before each use, check for general damage or damage to
moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any other condition that may affect the safe
operation of the device). If damaged, have the device repaired before use.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
Repair and maintenance of the device should be carried out by qualified persons using only original
spare parts. This will ensure a safe use of the device.
f)
To ensure the designed operational integrity of the device, do not remove factory installed covers or
loosen any screws.
g)
Avoid situations where the device is overloaded during operation. This can cause overheating of the
drive components and subsequent damage to the device.
h)
Do not leave the switched on device unattended.
i)
Clean the device regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
j)
The vibration emission value may change when the device is used in other environmental conditions.
k)
The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without adult
supervision.
l)
It is forbidden to tamper with the device in order to change its parameters or construction.
m) Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
n)
Do not use the device in closed rooms and buildings!
o)
Do not operate the device on slippery ground, at night, during fog, thunderstorms, strong winds or
other difficult weather conditions that hinder clear vision and balance.
p)
Before starting work, ensure that there are no bystanders, animals or objects in the vicinity that could
become an obstacle during operation.
q)
Before starting work, check that the device has been assembled correctly and is undamaged. Do not
use the device if it has visible signs of wear.
r)
Some screws may become loose as a result of the vibrations generated during use. Check their
condition and tighten them before each use.
s)
Do not make any adjustments while the engine is still running.
t)
If the device encounters an obstacle during operation, switch it off immediately.
u)
Do not start the engine or increase the speed unless you intend to use the device.
v)
Working with wet grass and bushes is not recommended.
w)
To start working in a different place, first switch off the device and then move it to the target spot
paying special attention to the blade.
x)
If the blade becomes bent, do not straighten it by hand!
2.4. Warnings concerning works with flammable materials
1)
The device engine is designed for mixed fuel: unleaded petrol + two-stroke oil. Mixing gasoline and oils
other than recommended may damage seals, hoses and tanks.
2)
Do not store fuel supplies near sources of fire and heat (such as a boiler, oven), electrical discharges,
welding sparks that may ignite the fuel. Smoking near the fuel tanks is prohibited.
3)
Before refuelling, ensure that the engine is switched off and has cooled down and that there are no
sources of fire near the refuelling area.
4)
Try not to spill fuel. If it happens, carefully wipe spilled fuel off the ground with a dry rag.
5)
When you have finished refuelling, close the cap on the tank carefully.
