Problem
The oven light does
not turn on.
Strong smell when
using the oven
Possible Cause
Your range is not connected
to the electric power.
The light bulb could be loose. Tighten the light bulb by turning it in
The light bulb is burnt out.
First few times the oven is
used.
Solution
Make sure your range is properly
connected to the electric power and
that the power supply is regular.

Replace the light bulb by a similar 40
Watts bulb.
Normal during the first few times you
use the oven. This is NOT a problem,
the smell will disappear over time.
