• OPTION B: Filling the base (AJM) with water. Sand is recommended.
1. Add cold water up to the fi ll hole, leaving two inches (5 cm) of space at the top for expansion.
2. Add one tablespoon of chlorine bleach to the water to prevent algae formation.
3. Screw the base cap (AJN) onto the fi ll hole.
4. Using two adults, stand the base up on a smooth surface.

For safety reasons, we recommend that sand be used
instead of water to fill the base. For winter months, remove
the water and lay the system down to store. Water can
freeze and expand in low temperatures, possibly cracking
the base.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est recommandé de remplir
le pied portatif avec du sable plutôt qu'avec de l'eau. Pour
les mois d'hiver, vider la base de l'eau et mettre le système
horzontal pour le stocker. L'eau peut geler et se dilater à
basse température et peut-être fissurer la base.
