immediately after boiling, do not bring your hand or other body parts close to the
kettle spout ❶. Hot steam can burn your skin. Do not pour water below the minimum
"MIN" and above the maximum "MAX" marks on the inside of the unit.
Preparing the device for operation
Before first use, fill the kettle to the "MAX" mark, boil and drain the water.
Operating the device
Plug in the power cord ❽ on the kettle stand ❸ (see picture b). Remove the
kettle from the stand. Open the lid ❹ with the button ❺ and pour water into
the kettle ❷, but do not exceed the maximum level "MAX". Close the lid and
place the kettle on the stand. Turn the switch ❼ on, and the control LED on
the switch will light up. After the water in the kettle boils, the device will
automatically turn off. The LED on the switch ❼ will turn off. Remove the power
cord plug from the power outlet when you are finished using it. You can also
stop the kettle at any time. To do this, turn off the switch or lift the kettle by the
handle from the stand and place it on the table.
Maintenance
Remove limescale on the inside of the kettle regularly. When using the kettle
(3–5 times a day) it is recommended to descale it once a month if the water in
your area is hard or very hard. If the water is soft or medium-hard, you can
remove the scale once every 2–3 months. For descaling you can use 8 % vinegar
solution or citric acid solution (30 g of citric acid per 0.5 l of water). Pour 0.5 liters
of vinegar or citric acid solution into the kettle and leave it for 2 hours without
boiling. Then pour out the contents of the kettle and boil the water in it 4–
5 times before the next use. The outer surface of the kettle can be cleaned with
a dry cloth or a cloth dampened in a weak solution of neutral detergent. After
applying the detergent, wipe the surface of the kettle with a clean, slightly
dampened cloth and then wipe dry. The stand can only be cleaned with a dry
cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, benzene, thinner, etc. to clean the kettle and
the stand.
