Important: Read these instructions for use carefully so as to familiarize
yourself with the appliance before connecting it to its gas container.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well ventilated
flame free location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on
your appliance, do it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.
2. In the event of a gas leak (characteristic odour),
Do not attempt to light the appliance.
Extinguish any open flame.
Turn off the gas tap locate on the front of the appliance by turning the handle in clockwise direction.
Disconnect from the fuel canister only in a well ventilated area and away from any ignition source.
3. The room where the appliance is to be positioned should have a minimum volume of at least 56m
4. The minimum ventilation of the room where the appliance is to be used should be 70 cm
into equal parts between the upper and lower rooms.
5. The appliance must be operated on a horizontal surface.
6. This appliance should never be used in the basements, bathrooms or bedrooms of residential
buildings.
7. Always keep the appliance clean and in good condition.
8. Always remove the gas canister when the appliance is not going to be used over a long period of
time.
9. The protection grid on this appliance is designed to prevent the risk of fire or
burning. No part should be permanently removed.
IT DOES NOT PROVIDE TOTAL PROTECTION FOR CHILDREN OR
DISABLE PEOPLE.
10. Check that seals (between the appliance and the gas container/canister) are
in place and in good condition before connecting to the gas container. Each
time a gas canister is replaced, the gasket between the canister and
appliance should be checked for good working condition.
11. Do not use the appliance if it has damaged or worn seals. Do not use an
appliance which is leaking, damaged or which does not operated properly. Please add a drawing of
the seals.
12. Do not place clothing or any other material object one the heater. Apart from the risk of fire, it could
also affect the operability.
13. Do not place the heater near cupboards, fabric, curtains, bedding, or any other type of inflammable
material in general.
14. The following safety distances must be respected and kept free of objects:
Heater sides: 20 cm
Heater front: 150 cm
15. Do not use this heater in leisure vehicles such as caravans.
16. Use only in a well ventilated area.
17. This appliance shall only be used with the BUTSIR / CAMPING butane cylinder. It may be hazardous
of attempt fit other types of gas containers.
18. CAUTION: accessible parts may become very hot, Keep young children away from the appliance
19. Please wear protective gloves before handling or operating the appliance when it is hot.
20. Do not modify the appliance.
