Function Action
Scan button The button initiates a scan if the document is detected in the feeder.
NOTE: Scan button will only work with HP WorkScan software which can be downloaded
at hpworksolution.com/setup.
Power button Press to power on.
Ready to scan or scan is in progress.
Press & hold for 5 seconds to power off.
Sleep mode.
Simplex/Duplex button In simplex mode. Scanner is preset to simplex scanning.
In duplex mode.
USB connecting Connection in progress.
USB connected Connection with the computer is established.
Paper jam Open the scanner and remove the jam.
Cover open Close the cover properly.
Paper detection Paper insertion into any initially empty feeder.
