• Check that the current carrying capacity of the mains wiring and socket
are adequate for the maximum rating of the device shown on the rating
label. In case of doubt, consult a suitably qualified person.
Attention!
Before connecting the SCR5 control box, remove any jumper connecting
the terminals N4-2 or N4-3 inside the fan.
Installation for Control unit 5 speed-Reversible
1° Disassemble back panel (A) and use it to mark the position of the fixing
holes in the wall (Fig. 1).
2° Drill wall and fix back panel (A) with screws and rawl plugs.
3° Insert the cables through the selected back panel (A) knockouts. Leave
just enough free length to enable ease of connection (Fig. 1).
4° Fix to back panel (A) the intermediate cables frame (B) by means of the
special screws (Fig. 1).
Carry out the connection to the terminal group of the regulator according
to the scheme (picture 2). Remove the bridge (N4-3) on the product.
Tighten cables with the clamping screws and screw included in the
equipment.
5° Fix cover (C) to the intermediate cables frame (B) by means of the
special screws (Fig. 3).
Use (Fig. A)
a) To start the fan, press button (D) (control lamp lighting).
b) Press button (E) to change airflow direction (intake or extract).
c) Turn knob (F) to select the desired speed.
Installation for Electronic Control HCS
1° Disassemble back panel (A) and use it to mark the position of the fixing
holes in the wall (Fig. 4).
2° Drill wall and fix back panel (A) with screws and rawl-plugs.
3° Insert the cables through the selected back panel (A) knockouts. Leave
just enough free length to enable ease of connection (Fig. 4).
4° Fix to back panel (A) the intermediate cables frame (B) by means of the
special screws (Fig. 4).
Carry out the connection to the terminal group of the regulator according
to the scheme (picture 2a). Tighten cables with the clamping screws and
screws included in the equipment.
5° When necessary, it is possible to vary the lowest speed by turning the
trimmer with a screwdriver (Fig. 5).
Anticlockwise rotation increases the level of slow speed setting,
clockwise rotation reduces it.
6° Once the trimmer's suitable setting, is established check that the motor
starts regularly.
7° Replace cover (C) and tighten the screws (Fig. 6).
Use (Fig. B)
a) To start the fan, push knob (D) (control lamp lighting).
b) Push knob (E) in order to connect or disconnect the humidistat.
c) Turn knob (F) to select the desired speed.
d) Minimum applicable load 30W type (M).
The control unit is equipped with a 5 x 20 fuse 1A/250 V. (Fig. 5). IMQ
