xamples of devices for domestic use are those used for typical domestic reasons, in domestic
environments and that can be used by non-experts:
- in shops, offices and other similar places of work;
- in farming businesses or similar businesses;
- by guests in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- in bed and breakfast accommodation.
T
he device should not be used in dusty area s or with extremely volatile materials (which may
block grids), or with flammable products, or outdoors.
O
nly use the device with the accessories supplied in order to ensure the safety of use. Periodically
check the good condition of the device and its components: in case of doubt, contact an authorised
service centre and make sure that the spare parts supplied are original.
M
ake sure that all of its parts (tank, filter, intake grid, rubber stopper) are correctly placed on the
device before putting it into operation.
W
arning: when using electrical devices, always adhere to basic safety precautions to prevent the
risk of fire, electric shocks and physical injury. Even more attention and care is required in the use
of electrical devices incorporating a water tank: in the event that the water overflows and if the
water gets the cable and power plug wet, first turn the power plug off at the switch on the electrical
panel, and only then remove the plug from the socket. Carefully wipe both the plug and electrical
cable and only after have reactivated the power to the outlet. If in doubt consult a qualified
professional.

o not drink or use water drained from the tank.
I
f the device is not being used, unplug it from the plug point.

o not pull on the power cable or use the device itself to unplug the device from the plug point.

o not pull on the power cable to move the device.
A
lways unplug the device from the plug point before assembly, disassembly or cleaning the
device.
If
the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance
centre or by someone who is similarly qualified, in order to prevent any risks.
Do
not leave the device exposed to atmospheric conditions (sun, rain, etc.).
Do
not block the air intake grid and exhaust air.
Do
not move or lift the device when in use.
A
lways and only use the dehumidifier in a vertical position; do not sit or stand on the unit.
I
n order to protect yourself from electric shocks, do not immerse the plug, the power cable or the
device in water or any other liquid.
W
arning: in order to avoid overheating, do not cover the device.

his device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote control
system in order to avoid the risk of fire where the device is covered or is not positioned correctly.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar
(Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in
order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210
mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't
change the page numbering. Keep the language
integrity.
