Any accessible surfaces may become hot during use (Fig.2). Use heat-
protective gloves and touch the device only on the intended handles and
gripping surfaces.
•
Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
•
A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching flammable
materials when in operation. Do not place the appliance close to an
external heat source (oven, gas stove, electric burner, etc.)
•
Place the ingredients inside the basket to prevent them coming into
contact with heating elements.
•
Do not cover the air inlet and the air outer openings while the appliance
is operating.
•
Do not fill the pot with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
Warning
•
Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance fits the local mains voltage.
•
Do not use the appliance if it does not operate correctly, there is any
damage on plug, mains cord or other parts. These parts must be replaced
by an Approved Service Agent to avoid any danger.
•
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
•
Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
•
Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances.
Leave at least 10 cm free space on the back and sides and 10 cm free
space above the appliance.
•
Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
•
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this
manual.
•
Do not let the appliance unattended while it is operating.
•
During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings.
Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and air outlet
openings.
•
Be careful of hot steam while removing the pot from the appliance.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces, parts of the inside of the appliance while it is
operating.
•
Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out of the
fryer. Wait for smoke emission to stop before pulling the pot out.
