6) With the switch SOURCE (5) adjust the de-
sired signal source for the headphones:
PREAMP
the preamplified signal of the PHONO or
LINE input
PC AUDIO
the audio signal coming from the com-
puter; depending on the adjustment of the
computer or the programmes used, this
signal can also contain the input signals
(which are possibly heard with delay)
MIX
a mix of PREAMP signal and PC AUDIO
signal
7) Adjust the desired headphone volume with
the control LEVEL (7).
CAUTION
Never adjust the headphones
to a very high volume. Per-
manent high volumes may
damage your hearing! The
human ear will get accus-
tomed to high volumes which
do not seem to be that high
any more after some time.
Therefore, do not further in-
crease a high volume after
getting used to it.
8) After operation via the plug-in transformer,
disconnect it from the socket as it consumes
a low current even if the unit is switched off.
