• F or additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current
device (RCD) in the electrical circuit that supplies the bathroom his
electricity. This RCD must have a rated residual operating current no
higher than 30mA. Ask your installer for advice.

before the first use
• T ake the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
• C lean before use the appliance with a damp cloth.
• D uring first use there could be some smoke and a burning smell.
This happens because the appliance is new. It will disappear after
a few minutes. This does not mean there is a malfunction and it will
not cause one.

• U nwind the power cord.
• P ut the plug of the curling iron into the socket and turn the switch to
the "ON" position.
• W ait a couple of minutes to allow the appliance to reach its working
temperature.
• Y our hair should be dry or very nearly dry when using the curling iron.
Separate the strands of hair to be curled and gently brush it free of tangles.
• G rip the hair using the clamp and wind it towards the scalp.
Do not allow the barrel to come into contact with your skin because
this became very hot.
• H old the curling iron in this position for around 10-20 seconds and then
gently unwind.
• H olding the curling iron in position for 5-10 seconds will create gentle
hair waves.
• F ine hair requires less time than coarse hair to create effects.
• T o achieve extra bounce and body, lift several strands of hair and gently
run the brush through from scalp to the hair ends.
