Dehumidification
1. Press the power button (1) and select "dehum" (2) on the operating panel or press
the selection button (see point 1 cooling) on the remote control and select the "dehum"
function.
2. The fan speed is automatically set to low (this cannot be changed).
3. When using this function, a discharge hose or something similar must be connected
to discharge condensation water.
4. Remove the cap on the back of the appliance.
5. Mount the end of a discharge hose to the drain and place the other end in a bucket
lower than the drain of the appliance, so that the condensation water can be
discharged properly.
Caution:
• Condensation water may run out of the drain when the screw cap is removed and the
appliance has been used in cooling mode. Keep a drip tray at hand when removing the
screw cap to collect the condensation water.
• Make sure the discharge hose for the condensation water is pointed down and is not
higher than the drain of the appliance.
• When using this function, the air discharge hose does not have to be connected.
• When using the cooling function, it is recommended to not discharge the
condensation water continuously, but to close the screw cap again. This way, the
appliance provides its best performance.
