When riding the scooter, always wear:
- a helmet and personal
protective equipment for the
hands, wrists, knees, elbows,
- shoes: these must be closed at
the toe and should have flat
soles
- comfortable, well-fitting
clothes
to ensure maximum safety.
• The scooter must not be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacity, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are under the
supervision of an adult or appropriate
instructions have been provided.

Keep clothing, such as trouser hems, laces,
etc., and all other parts of your clothing,
away from moving parts (e.g. the wheels).
