Fault
The DuoClean switches itself
off and the LED waves are lit
up red.
The DuoClean switches off.
The LED waves are flashing
red and the inspection flap
comes open.
When switching on the
cordless vacuum cleaner, the
LED waves on the DuoClean
flash red.
The suction channel of the
DuoClean is blocked.
The joint connector of the
DuoClean is blocked.
The DuoClean is making an
unusual noise.
Possible cause and solutions
It is possible that the motor is overloaded.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner off.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner on.
Moisture has been absorbed.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner off.
– Using a kitchen towel, dry the area of the suction channel that
is exposed by the inspection flap.
– After the device has dried completely, switch on the cordless
vacuum cleaner and close the inspection flap on the DuoClean.
– This step may need to be repeated several times.
Moisture may have been absorbed when the device was last used.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner off.
– Close the inspection flap.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner back on.
It is possible that condensation has formed in the DuoClean as it
was stored at very low temperatures.
– If the DuoClean has been stored in cold conditions, let it first
warm up for several hours at room temperature before using it.
– Switch the cordless vacuum cleaner off.
– Open the inspection flap on the left hand side of the device.
This can be done by inserting a coin into the groove (1).
The magnetic latch on the inspection flap comes open (2). You
can now clearly see inside the suction channel.
– Remove any objects that are blocking the suction channel (3).
To do this, use an appropriate blunt object (e.g. screwdriver,
crochet hook).

– Press the inspection flap down to close it again.
The magnetic latch on the inspection flap will click into place
and it is now firmly closed.
– Also check whether the suction openings between the sealing
lips are clear. If necessary, shake out any objects inside.
– Remove the blockage with a suitable blunt tool (e.g. screw
driver, crochet hook).
It is possible that the device has not been closed correctly or that
the cloth holder frame has not been mounted correctly.
– Check whether the inspection flap is closed correctly and close
it if not.
– Check the cloth holder frame is correctly inserted and locked
into place.
