Preparation before use
• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
• Check that the device is in good condition and with all acces-
sories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please
contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use
the device.
• Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==>
Cleaning & Maintenance).
• Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
• Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resist-
ant surface that is safe against water splashes.
• Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in
the future.
• Keep the user manual for future reference.
NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may
emit a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and
does not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appli-
ance is well ventilated.
Operating instructions
REMARKS:
1. With one glass decanter of 1,8 litre & 10 coffee filters in-
cluded.
2. To brew coffee with this appliance, a coffee filter is re-
quired. Coffee filters O 25cm (x10, supplied). Do not use
this appliance without coffee filter in place.
3. Use water to clean the appliance interior thoroughly for
few times before making coffee for the first time. Discard
the water from the first few boiling cycles to remove any
residues from the manufacturing process.
To make coffee follow these steps:
1. Put the coffee filter (supplied) inside the filter pan. Add the
desired amount of ground coffee, depending on your taste.
The recommended amount is 75-90 gm per pot of water
(1.6-1.8 litre).
2. Place the filter pan in the holder.
3. Fill the coffee pot (glass decanter, vacuum pot or thermos
depending on model type) with the desired amount of wa-
ter and pour it in the water reservoir. Then, close the lid of
the water reservoir.
4. Place the empty glass decanter on the lower warming
plate.
5. Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical power out-
let.
6. Press the ON/OFF button once to switch ON the appliance
and RED indicator lights up to indicate that the brewing
process has started.
7. After some time coffee will start to drip into the coffee pot.
8. When all of the water has passed through the machine,
the ON/OFF button indicator light will change to BLUE and
go into keep warming mode. Brewing coffee process fin-
ished. The coffee is ready to be served.
9. In order to keep warming of the glass decanter, the appli-
ance must remain switch ON.
10. When served, remove the glass decanter from the warm-
ing plate and pour the coffee carefully to ensure that hot
coffee is not spilled. Hold the handle of the glass decanter
only. CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! HOT SURFACES!
11. It takes about 5 to 6 minutes to brew one glass decanter
of coffee.
12. There is another warming plate at the top. You can put the
ready glass decanter on it & press keep warming button
to operate & keep it warm. So that you can brew another
glass decanter of coffee at the same time using the lower
warming plate.
13. The appliance has an overflow tube to allow extra water in
the reservoir to escape, but since the coffee pot can hold
only 1.8 litres of water we recommend that you never fill
the reservoir with more than 1.8 litres of water.
14. Some water will always be left in the machine and in the
tubes. If you do not use or move the appliance for a long
time, it is best to empty the appliance and clean it before
storing it.
15. If you have emptied the appliance (as recommended in no.
10 above), before using it again you should repeat steps
1-7 of Preparing the appliance for use.
16. If you haven't used the appliance for a short time, rinse it
out with clean water before use.
NOTE: There is a RED indicator lamp at the lower front side. It
will lights up when temperature safety device is activated for
protection due to abnormal operation. Unplug it and left cool
down completely. Contact the supplier.
1. Never pour hot water in the water reservoir.
2. Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may
emit some odor when switched on first time. this is nor-
mal and does not indicate any defect or hazard.
3. There is a RED indicator lamp at the lower front side. It
will lights up when temperature safety device is activated
for protection due to abnormal operation. Unplug it and
left cool down completely. Contact the supplier.
Do not forget to turn the appliance off after use.
Cleaning & maintenance
• ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the
power supply and cool down before storage, cleaning &
maintenance.
• Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do
not push the appliance under the water as the parts will get
wet and electric shock might be resulted.
• If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this
can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a
dangerous situation.
Cleaning
• Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge
slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
• For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned
before and after use.
• Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
• Clean the inside of container with a non-abrasive detergent
and rinse with clean water.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive sponges, or
cleaning agents containing chlorine. Do not use steel wool,
