Assembly instructions and
user manual
Carefully read through the
complete assembly instruc-
tions and user manual, par-
ticularly the safety instructions. Failure to
heed these safety instructions may result
in severe injury or damage to the sun
shade. Store the assembly instructions
and user manual for future reference and
always include them when passing the
sun shade on to third parties.
Your safety
Please observe the following
safety instructions. The manu-
facturer is not liable for damage
as the result of failure to comply.
Risk of electric shock!
Improper installation and use may result
in an electric shock.
– Keep the voltage supply cable at zero
potential before you start installation
and before cleaning. Switch the fuse
or switch off.
– Do not perform any modifications to
the LED bar, components or connec-
tor cables.
– Do not use the LED bar if the LED
bar, components or connector cables
exhibit visible damages or if they are
damaged.
– Only authorised professionals may
perform repairs on the LED bar and
components.
– Only parts that comply with the original
device data may be used for repairs.
– Immediately replace a broken protec-
tive cover. Only use original compo-
nents to do so.
– The illuminant's maximum capacity
must not be exceeded.
– Before cleaning, switch the LED bar
off and let it cool down.
– Keep open fire and hot surfaces away
from the LED bar.
– The LED bar's illuminant can not be
replaced. When the illuminant has
reached the end of its service life, the
entire shade brace with the built-in
LED bar must be replaced.
– Only connect the transformer if the
mains voltage corresponds to the rat-
ing plate specification.
– Only connect the transformer to the
jack attached to the sun shade.
– Do not operate the transformer if it is
visibly damaged or if the mains cord
or mains plug is defective.
– Keep the transformer, mains plug and
mains cord away from open flames
and hot surfaces.
– Do not immerse the transformer, the
mains cord or mains plug in water or
other liquids.
– Never set up the transformer so that
there is a risk of it falling in water or
other liquids.
– Never reach to retrieve an electrical
device if it has fallen in water. In such
a case, immediately switch off the
power supply on the fuse box.
– When you are not using the trans-
former, cleaning it or in the event of
a fault, always switch the transformer
off and disconnect the power supply.
– Lay the mains cord so that it does not
pose a tripping hazard.
– Do not kink the mains cord and do not
lay it over sharp edges.
