– The sun shade can protect your skin
from direct UV radiation, but not from
reflected UV rays. For this reason,
please also use a cosmetic sun block.
– In order to protect the sun shade from
excessive strain, close the sun shade
in the event of rain or snow and se-
cure it with the hook-and-loop strip.
– The cover is not suitable for machine
washing, dry cleaning or bleaching.
– Do not use aggressive chemical clean-
ing agents or fluids, solvents, abra-
sive substances or objects, bleach-
ing agents, high-pressure cleaners or
strong cleaning products.
– Please note the information on the
care label sewn into the sun shade.

plicable European and natio-
nal guidelines. This is confir-
med by the CE mark (corres-
ponding declarations are kept
with the manufacturer).
May only be used indoors.
Intended use
The sun shade is suitable for providing
protection against direct UV radiation.
It is not intended to provide protection
against rain or snow.
Setting up the shade
For assembly, you will also need the fol-
lowing:
8 cement slabs,
50 × 50 cm each
the assistance of ano-
ther person
A protective sleeve for the sun shade
may be purchased separately in a spe-
cialist shop if needed.
1. Mount the cross base (see figure 1).
2. Insert the plug 2 on the rotary plate 1
through the hole in the middle of the
cross base (see figure 2).
3. Mount the rotary plate on the cross
base with 4 of the enclosed washers 4
and 4 of the screws 3 (see figure 3).
(Make sure that the cable is not caught
between the rotary plate and the cross
base.)
4. Bring the cross base into a vertical po-
sition and connect the plug 2 under the
cross base with the plug 5 (see figure 4).
5. Insert the cement slabs.
6. *Remove cover from the plug 8 on the
cross base and connect the mains
adapter 7 to plug 8 (see figure 5).
7. Slip the shade mast 9 over the pole
foot 10 and fix it in place with 2 hexa-
gon socket screws 11 (see figure 6).
8. *Connect the plug 12 with the plug 2
(see figure 7).
9. Put the crank 13 on the locating pin 14
and tighten the grub screw 15 using a
hex key (see figure 8).
10. *Connect the mains plug 6 to a prop-
erly installed socket.
