To engage and disengage the drive
system
To move the product with the engine off, the drive
system must be disengaged.
•
Pull out the drive system lever fully to disengage the
drive on the axle.
•
Push the drive system lever in fully to engage the
drive on the axle.
Note: Do not use middle positions.
To lift and lower the cutting deck
•
To lift the cutting deck to transport position, pull the
lift lever rearward. If the engine is on, the blades stop
to rotate.

To lower the cutting deck to mow position, press the
lock button and move the lift lever forward. If the
engine is on, the blades start to rotate.
To start the engine
1. Make sure that the drive system is engaged, see
engage and disengage the drive system on page 12 .
2. Lift up the cutting deck.
3. Apply the parking brake.

4. Put the throttle control in start position.
