Troubleshooting
Problem
No steam coming out of the
safety valve.
Steam is coming out of the
GB
edge of the lid.
Pressure is not forming in
the pressure cooker. The
pressure indicator is not
raising.

Cause
1. There is insuffi cient
liquid in the pressure
cooker.
2. The cooking zone is not
hot enough.
3. The safety valve is
blocked.
1. The lid is not closed
correctly.
2. The seal is incorrectly
positioned or dirty.
3. The seal is defective.
1. The pressure regulator
has turned to the steam
symbol.
Solution
1. Add more liquid.
2. Turn up the heat.
3. Clean the safety valve.
1. Remove the lid and put
it back on carefully.
2. Wash the seal and put it
back on.
3. Replace the seal.
1. Turn the pressure
regulator to position 1
or 2.
