Do not lay PVC cables at a temperature below +5°C.
N OTICE
The device can withstand all weather conditions (e.g. rain, splashing water, sunlight,
high temperatures and frost). Nevertheless, we recommend operating the device
in a place protected from the weather, e.g. house wall, (roof) shelter, stable, box
or inside a closed room, e.g. garage, garden shed, carport, tool shed, workshop.
Mount the device vertically on a suitable wall, e.g. with the supplied fixing screw.

41150. This allows the device to be
mounted on a standard top-hat rail.
7.2 CONNECT AND SWITCH ON THE DEVICE
The VOSS.pet fenci duo can be operated via the connection (5) both via a 230 V/14 V mains adapter
and via a 12 V rechargeable battery.

The energiser must not be supplied with a voltage above 16 V via battery
connection. When connecting to a solar cell/photovoltaic system, a charge
controller must be used, the device must not be connected directly to a solar
cell/photovoltaic system.

Do not use the device if there is any visible damage.

Before connecting the device to your fence, you can optionally check its functionality
(see section 7.3).
1. Make sure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
2. Connect the earth connection (4) to the earth stake using the earth connection cable supplied.
For proper grounding, follow the tips in section 7.4.
3. Plug the mains adapter cable or the battery connection cable into the connector (5) on the
device.
4. Connect the fence connection terminal (3) to the fence using the fence connector cable.
5. Make sure that both connection nuts (3 and 4) are hand-tightened.
6. Insert the mains plug into the socket or connect the terminals to the 12V battery.

Only insert the plug into properly installed sockets, otherwise it may result in
a short circuit or electric shock. The socket used should be equipped with a
residual current circuit breaker (RCCB).

Formation of oxyhydrogen gas possible. When used with 12V rechargeable batteries
(lead‑acid, AGM, gel batteries), they must be placed in a well‑ventilated area.
N OTICE

Connect the energiser directly to the battery. Do not connect a solar charge
controller with a separate load output in between. These may damage the
energiser due to voltage fluctuations.
