Mobile EV Charger EVSE User Manual
Instructions Pertaining to a Risk of Fire or Electric Shock
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the Mobile EV Charger, basic electrical safety precautions
should be followed:
• Read all instructions before using this product
• Use this EVSE to charge electric vehicles equipped with an
SAE J1772 charge port unless an adapter is used. Consult
the vehicle's owner manual to determine if the vehicle is
equipped with the correct charge port.
• This product contains no user serviceable parts. Consult
the Customer Support section in this manual for service
information. Do not attempt to repair or service the EVSE
yourself.
• Do not use (or immediately discontinue using) the EVSE if it
appears cracked, frayed, broken or damaged, or is defective
or fails to operate. Contact Customer Support for service
immediately.
• Do Not place fingers inside of the coupler end of the SAE
J1772 charge cable.
• Make certain the EVSE SAE J1772 charge cable is positioned so
it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected
to damage or stress.
• Not for use in commercial garages where a COMMERCIAL
GARAGE is defined as a facility (or portion thereof) used for
the repair of internal combustion vehicles in which the area
may be classified due to flammable vapors being present
(such as from gasoline).
• If rain falls during charging, Do Not allow rainwater to run
along the length of charge cable such that it causes the
electrical outlet or charging port to become wet.
Additional instructions for plug-in hazards
• Do Not use this EVSE with an extension cord or wall plug
adapter. Plug this EVSE directly into a wall receptacle.
• Do Not use the adapter on this EVSE with an outlet that it is
