Please read these operating instructions carefully. We shall not accept any liabil-
ity for damage occurring as a result of non-compliance with operating instruc-
tions and such damage will be excluded from the warranty.

> Incorrect installation, servicing, maintenance,
cleaning or modifications to the hood may
result in damage, fire, injury or death. Read
these installation instructions carefully
before installing the appliance.
> This appliance may only be used in
commercial kitchens. All other uses are
counter to its intended purpose, and may be
dangerous.
> The room must be ventilated well if the
UltraVent is also used with appliances that
burn gas or other fuels.
> Do not flambé underneath the hood.
> Rules and regulations regarding aeration and
exhaust air must be complied with.
> Special care is required where other
appliances with open exhaust outlets are
used in the same space to prevent backflow
of exhaust fumes.
> Keep this manual in a safe place so that it
can always be consulted by anyone using the
appliance.
