IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
1.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
2.
To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug
or unit in water or other liquid.
3.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.
5.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
6. The use of attachments including canning jars, not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
7.
Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
9. Avoid contacting moving parts.
10. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
11. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce
the risk of sever injury to persons or damage to the blender. A
scraper may be used but must only be used when the blender is not
running.
12. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
13. To reduce the risk of injury, never place the cutter-assembly blades
on the base without the jar properly attached.
14. Always operate with the cover in place.
15. When blending hot liquids, remove the center piece of the two
piece cover.
16. Never add to the container while the appliance is operating.
17. Container must be properly in place before operating appliance.
