Malfunctions

Malfunction
The left LED lights up red while a hand
transmitter button is held pressed -
no additional display follows.
Both LEDs alternately flash orange slowly after
a hand transmitter button is pressed.
The left LED lights up faintly or not at all after a
hand transmitter button is pressed.
After a mains voltage failure, the red LED of
the ESE1-io receiver/transmitter unit flashes for
more than 10 s.

Cause
No product has been assigned to this
button.
The hand transmitter is outside the
range of the operator.
The ESE1-io receiver/transmitter unit is
not connected.
The operator has no power supply.
The hand transmitter has not been
taught-in on any of the products
present.
Battery voltage too low.
a) Communication error
b) ESE1-io is in ex-factory settings
again.
Remedy
Teach-in the product on the hand transmitter
button (see Chapter 5.1/5.2).
Bring the hand transmitter into the vicinity
of the operator.
Connect ESE1-io receiver/transmitter unit.
Check the operator's power supply.
- Reset the HSM4-io hand transmitter
(see Chapter 8.1).
- Transfer the system key from another
hand transmitter (see Chapter 7).
- Teach-in the desired operator on the
hand transmitter (see Chapter 5.1/5.2).
Replace the battery (12 volt/type 23A).
Observe the correct polarity!
a) Remove the ESE1-io receiver/transmitter
unit plug from the BUS socket and
re-insert.
b) repeat teach-in (see Chapter 5.1/5.2).
