Achine
Use very short drills and fixtures.
When installing on transfer machines or automat-
ed systems, make sure that the feed rate is set
precisely (particularly for thread cutting in blind
holes). The drills must be cooled when they are cutting.

OOls
The multiple spindle heads are not suitable for
carbide tools. Handle tools and attachments with
care, keep them clean and sharp, and observe
the manufacturer's instructions on the use of coolants
and tool receivers. Use the attachments intended for each
application. Do not trim attachments for applications they
have not been designed for. Always use speeds and feed
rates assigned to the attachment and material, and do not
exceed the machine's and the tool's max speed. Never
remove chips with your bare hand, but always use e.g.
hooks, etc. The stated maximum speed must not be ex-
ceeded. For continuous operating temperatures of 60-80
° C are considered to be normal

The gearing and bearings are fitted with oil batch lubri-
cation. Change the oil after about 500 operating hours.
The oil is replenished and drained through the inspection
glass. Use only oil that is free of resin and acid (Shell Tel-
lus S2 M68 or similar).

If despite strict observance of the manufacturing and test-
ing method the multiple spindle head should happen to
fail, it must be repaired by an authorized SUHNER agency.

In the event of the tool being improperly handled, used
for purposes for which it is not intended and/or of the ser-
vice and maintenance instructions not being observed by
non-authorized persons, no warranty shall be in effect for
damages/consequential damages. Complaints can only
be honored if the multiple spindle head is returned in the
undisassembled condition.

Max. relative air humidity: 90% at +30°C, 65% at +50°C.

be introduced to recycling. Before disposal, render the
multiple spindle head inoperable. Do not introduce the
multiple spindle head to the domestic waste cycle.
