Cleaning the Snow Shovel
a. For safe and proper operation, always keep the appliance and its ventilation slots clean.
b. Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Use only a clean cloth to remove dirt,
dust, oil, grease, etc. When cleaning the snow shovel attachment, DO NOT immerse it in
water or other liquids.
Storing the Snow Shovel
a. Remove the battery pack.
b. Clean the snow shovel attachment and the auger thoroughly before storing it.
c. Store the snow shovel attachment in a dry, well-ventilated area, locked-up or up high, out
of the reach of children. Keep it away from corrosive agents, such as garden chemicals
and de-icing salts.
Replacing the Scraper Bar
If the scraper bar is worn out, excessively cracked, frayed, or otherwise damaged, please
send the appliance to SKIL Factory Service Center or Authorized SKIL Service Station to
replace scraper bar.
Replacing the Drive Belt
If the drive belt is worn, oil-soaked, excessively cracked, frayed, or otherwise damaged,
please send the appliance to SKIL Factory Service Center or Authorized SKIL Service Station
to replace the belt.
Service
We recommend that all tool service be performed by a SKIL Factory Service Center or
Authorized SKIL Service Station.

technician.
Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove battery from the
tool.
