About: Dehydration is the one of the easiest and most efficient methods of food preservation. Food is exposed to heat and air
in order to remove moisture. Lacking moisture, bacteria and micro-organisms are inhibited. Dehydrated foods can be preserved
for long periods without refrigeration and they have far less weight and bulk. It is ideal for health food enthusiasts, children's
lunchboxes and for camping.
Intended Usage:
The Food Dehydrator is intended for use in private households.
It is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments
& is not suitable for use outdoors.
Safety instructions:
Risk of electrical shocks
• Connect the appliance to a mains power socket
delivering a voltage of 220V-240V ~ 50 Hz.
• Power consumption: 250W
• Arrange for defective power plugs &/or cables
to be replaced at once by qualified technicians
• Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or moist during
operation.
• Never submerge the operating/heating element or the housing
with the power cable in water, & do not clean these components
under running water.
• Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They could constitute a danger to user & damage to
the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance if it has sustained a fall or is
damaged. Arrange for the appliance to be checked &, if necessary,
repaired by qualified technicians.

This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including
children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual
abilities or deficiencies in experience &/or knowledge unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive
from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
Always turn control to OFF & unplug the appliance from outlet when
not in use & before cleaning. Allow unit to cool completely before
putting or taking off parts & before cleaning.
Do not use for more than 40 hours continuously
Your Food dehydrator has a vent on its top.
Do not operate with vent blocked or closed at any time as this will
interfere with proper air flow.
Do not use oil sprays on the trays.
• Do not touch the hot sections of the device, without wearing oven
mitts to avoid any injury from escaping steam etc
Positioning the apparatus
Countertop & table surfaces are not designed to withstand the
prolonged heat generated by this appliance. We recommend placing
heatproof mat(s) under the appliance before use to avoid damage
to the surface. Failure to do so may cause permanent blemishes
or stains.
Do NOT put the appliance on plastic table or a plastic table cloth).
• The appliance should be placed on a level & stable surface
• Keep the unit at a safe distance from inflammable objects such
as furniture, curtains, etc.
• Do not place next to hot areas, for example gas rings & electric
hotplates or next to wet areas, for example the kitchen sink.
Cord, plug & mains socket
Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table/counter,
& keep it away from hot objects & naked flames.
Keep the cord away from hot parts of the appliance & hot surfaces
during operation.
Check regularly that neither cord nor plug is damaged & do not use
if they are, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any
other way.
If the apparatus or plug is damaged, it must be inspected & if
necessary, repaired by an authorized repair engineer, otherwise
there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the appliance
yourself.
Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket.
Instead, hold the plug.
