Installation and Mounting:
IMPORTANT! This unit is a safety device and it must be connected
to its own separate, fused power point to assure its continued
operation should any other electrical accessory fail.
Note: It is recommended to isolate wires/blunt wires that were
cut or not used. The light head has a small round hole covered
with vent membrane that must face downward when mounting
the light head.
Bezel Mount:
Step 1. Run the cable of the light head through the center hole of
the backplate bracket. The countersunk holes should be facing away
from the light head. Secure the backplate bracket to the light head
using the two M2.5x10mm flathead screws (not shown). See Figure
1.
Step 2. Using the long gasket as a template, mark two holes on a
flat mounting surface for screw insertion, and a third center hole for
cable routing. Drill the two mounting holes using a 2.5mm or #40 bit.
Drill the center hole using a 9mm or T bit. See Figure 2.
Step 3. Run the cable of the light head through the long gasket.
Place the bezel over the light head and feed the cable through the
center drilled hole in the mounting surface. Mount the assembly to
the surface using the two M3x20mm button head screws. Tighten to
10 in-lbs max torque. See Figure 3.
