Check extension cord is fully connected to tool

Check extension cord is fully connected to a live receptacle

Check that safety lock of button is fully depressed prior to
moving trigger

Pull hand guard back toward front handle

Lubricate blades

Straighten blade or blade support

Tighten blade bolts

Adjust chain tension

Fill tank with chain oil

Reverse chain so that cutters face the right direction
