- Continue pushing until you hear a "click".
- Make sure the support leg is resting on the frame (3,2).
- Check to make sure everything is securely attached by lifting up the seat.
- To remove the pushchair seat, push the button under the adapter attachments outward (4,1) while sliding the
built-in adapters upward at the same time (4,2).
- Place both guards back onto the adapter attachments.
Safety harness
- Apply the brake on the Freestyle 4 Plus (see Using the parking brake).
- Make sure the safety harness is loosened before placing your child (carefully!) into the seat.
- Slide the buckle sections together and fasten the lap and shoulder belts into the crotch strap by clicking the
buckle sections into the fastener.
- Adjust the belts to the size of your child by lengthening or shortening the belts using the clasps.
- Push the buttons to open the fastener.
- There are D-rings for securing an additional safety harness. Make sure the safety harness complies with all
safety standards (i.e. BS 6684) before using it.
- The shoulder belts are height adjustable. To change the height, open the cover on the back and adjust the
clasp both on the front in the cover and in the board. Tilt the clasp when adjusting.
- IMPORTANT: The press studs on the side of the seat are for attaching a footmuff only.
Fitting / removing the safety bar
- Click the 2 ends of the safety bar into the openings on the pushchair seat (5).
- To remove the safety bar, push in both buttons while pulling the safety bar upwards.
- To secure the safety bar, click the end back into the opening.
- IMPORTANT: Always secure your child with the safety harness.
Footrest
- The footrest can be adjusted to 2 positions.
- Press both buttons under the footrest at the same time (6,1), and then adjust the footrest into the desired
position (6,2).
- IMPORTANT: Never let your child sit or stand on the footrest.
Backrest adjuster
- The pushchair seat back is collapsible.
- To adjust the backrest, pull up the handle in the middle of the back (7,1) while pushing the back
towards you (7,2).
Fitting / removing adapter set
- IMPORTANT: Use adapter set together with the Maxi-Cosi car safety seat only, and always in combination
with pushchair seat of the Pluspackage
- Place each adapter with the slot on the axles (8,1) and slide it over the button (8,2).
- Continue sliding until you hear a "click".
- Check to make sure both adapters are secure.
- To remove the adapters, push the button (9,1) while pushing the adapters upward at the same time (9,2).
Fitting / removing Maxi-Cosi car safety seat
- IMPORTANT: Always place pushchair seat of the Pluspackage before placing the Maxi-Cosi car seat.
- IMPORTANT: Insert or remove the car seat from under the handlebar (10).

USING WITH PUSHCHAIR SEATS (SEE ILLUSTRATIONS 11)
- See Fitting / removing pushchair seat.
- IMPORTANT: Always place pushchair seat of Pluspackage before placing the other pushchair seat.
- IMPORTANT: Always place pushchair seat in a backward-facing position when used together with pushchair
seat of Pluspackage (see Placing / removing pushchair seat).
- IMPORTANT: Make sure that the other pushchair seat "clicks" into the 4 cross-bars (11).
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (SEE ILLUSTRATIONS 12 – 13)
Using the sun canopy
- To use the sun canopy for both pushchair seats at the same time, attach the flaps on both the front and the
back of it (12).
- Push both clips on the sun canopy onto the sides of the handlebar at the desired height (13).
- To remove the sun canopy, pull the clips from the handlebar.
MAINTENANCE (SEE ILLUSTRATIONS 14 – 15)
Cover pushchair seat
- Remove the pushchair seat from the Freestyle 4 Plus with Pluspackage
(See Placing / removing the pushchair seat).
- Unzip the cover on the back and unhook the clasps and the elastic band around the foot end (14).
- Remove the support plate from the back (15).
- The cover can be washed by hand in lukewarm water using a regular detergent
(see Washing instructions).
- To re-attach the cover, slide the board back in.
- Refasten the clasps.
- IMPORTANT: Make sure the safety harness is secured properly.
- IMPORTANT: Never use the pushchair seat without the support plate.
ACCESSORIES
- IMPORTANT: The use of non-original accessories can have an adverse affect on the working of the Freestyle
4 Plus with Pluspackage.
- IMPORTANT: Minor colour variation may occur between the pushchair and accessories and generally does
not constitute a reason for replacing the product once it has been used.
