SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ THE MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLATION, AS
INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN BE DANGEROUS.
•
The rigid and plastic parts of a child restraint shall be so located and
installed that they cannot be trapped by a movable seat or door of the
vehicle during daily use of the vehicle.
•
This child seat may only be installed in the forward-facing position on
passenger seats. It must not be used on side-facing or rear-facing seats.
•
All straps securing the restraint to the vehicle should be tight. The
restraint should be adjusted to the child's height and not twisted.
•
All pelvic straps should be worn low down so that the pelvis is firmly
enclosed.
•
The child restraint must be replaced if it has been subjected to heavy
stress in an accident.
•
It is dangerous to make changes or additions to the device without the
approval of the type-approval authority, and not to follow the instructions
for installation carefully.
•
Make sure that children are not left unattended in their child restraints.
•
Ensure that luggage or other items that could cause injury in the event of a
collision are properly secured.
•
The child restraint must not be used without a cover. The seat cover may
only be replaced with the cover recommended by the manufacturer.
•
It is extremely dangerous to use loading points other than those described
in the instructions and marked in the child restraint.
•
Make sure that the distance between the main load point and the
child seat is more than 150 mm. If in doubt, contact the child restraint
manufacturer.
