Product usage
Before first use
•
Place the unit on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface, then clean it thoroughly before
use.
•
Avoid using the unit under or near curtains or any other combustible materials. Never
place the unit under a cupboard or near a wall (risk of heat-related damage).
•
Position the power cable in such a way that it does not come into contact with the heating
plates.
•
Due to the manufacturing process, the unit is likely to emit a faint burning smell when first
turned on. This is completely normal and does not mean that there is a manufacturing
defect or risk present.
•
Clean the unit ( Cleaning and maintenance).
Use
WARNING
In order to refrain from damaging the plate's non-stick
coating, always use kitchen utensils made of heat-
resistant synthetic material or wood.
•
Furthermore, coat the heating plates with a small amount of cooking oil or butter.
•
Connect the power plug to an appropriate mains socket.
•
Turn the power switch on.
•
Set the thermostat setting button to the highest level (
•
Set the timer to approx. 5 minutes. The indicators (Heating and Power + Timer) will light up.
•
Wait approx. 5 minutes. The indicators (Heating and Power + Timer) will turn off. The unit
has now fully pre-heated.
•
Open the lid. Place the pizza on the bottom plate. Close the lid.
•
Set the desired temperature and cooking time.
•
As soon as the set timer duration has elapsed, a beep will sound and the unit will turn
off. The indicator (Power + Timer) will also go off.
WARNING
Hot heating surface. When opening the lid, scalding hot
steam is likely to escape. Always wear kitchen gloves to
protect your hands.
